Posting deals and promotions

Deals are an Extended plan feature. If you're on Free or Base, you can ask to upgrade to Extended anytime to start posting them. Here's how it works.

Deals are an Extended-plan feature. If your business is on Free or Base, you can ask to upgrade to Extended anytime — use the Upgrade button on the For Businesses page or the contact form — to start publishing deals.

What counts as a deal

A deal is a specific, time-limited offer for residents browsing the directory or the Deals page. Examples:

  • "20% off all haircuts in May"
  • "Free first lesson for new students"
  • "Buy one, get one half-price on Tuesdays"
  • "Free delivery for Oranit residents"

Deals are not advertisements for your regular pricing. They should be actual offers, and residents will see them on the home page, the Deals page, and your business page.

How to publish a deal

  1. Sign in and open My account (/account).
  2. Click Edit next to your business, then the Deals tab.
  3. Click New deal and fill in the form.

The form

  • Title in Hebrew and English (required)
  • Description in Hebrew and English
  • Image (JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF, up to 15 MB)
  • Start and end date (required)
  • Original price, deal price and/or discount percent

The deal is shown from its start date until its end date while it's marked active. You can deactivate, edit, or delete it at any time from the same tab.

Tips for a good deal

  • Be specific. "20% off" works better than "great discounts."
  • Set a real expiry. Residents trust time-limited offers more than open-ended ones.
  • Use a clear product photo. Avoid generic stock images.
  • Write both languages. Residents browse in both Hebrew and English.
